Planned and cut
The opening was carefully planned around the wall’s structure and laid out to the inch, then cut with precision so the edges came out straight and square, ready for the door.
A commercial building needed a large new door in a solid concrete wall, and a way through its security fence to reach it. The opening was carefully planned and precisely cut, then we installed a motorized steel roll-up door and hung a chain-link swing gate in the fence line.
The building is a tall concrete tilt-up behind a chain-link security fence topped with barbed wire. The owner wanted a new loading door in a wall that had none, so trucks and equipment could move straight in and out.
That meant a new opening in a solid concrete panel, a commercial roll-up door to fit it, a motor to run it, and a gate in the fence so the new door could actually be reached.
The opening was carefully planned around the wall’s structure and laid out to the inch, then cut with precision so the edges came out straight and square, ready for the door.
Working from a lift, we mounted the guides, the barrel and the hood high on the wall, then hung and tensioned the steel curtain.
We connected the motor operator, set the open and close limits, and hung a galvanized chain-link swing gate in the security fence.
The operator raises and lowers the heavy steel curtain at the push of a button, so nobody has to chain it up by hand.
The door fits the new opening, so the guides sit tight to the wall and the curtain closes flush to the floor.
The galvanized chain-link swing gate matches the existing fence and barbed-wire top, so the security line stays unbroken.
Door, motor and gate were handled as one job, so the owner had a single contractor to call.
Every job starts with a free visit and a written price, from a single gate to a commercial building. Tell us what you need.
