Spring replacement
Torsion and extension springs replaced by a trained technician.
Broken garage door spring replacement means removing a failed torsion or extension spring and installing new springs rated for your door’s weight, then winding or setting them so the door balances, and testing the opener and safety reversing. Springs do the lifting, so when one breaks the door becomes too heavy to open. It’s dangerous work because springs store a lot of tension. Eagle Automatic Gate & Door replaces garage door springs across the Bay Area.

We strongly advise against it. Torsion springs are wound with enough force to break bones, and winding bars slipping is a common cause of serious injuries. Getting the right spring size also matters, or the door will be unbalanced and wear out the opener. Keep the door closed, unplug the opener, and call a trained technician. Call our specialist and we’ll get it fixed safely.
